Hours: Part-time position – 15 hours/week
Schedule: Tuesday & Wednesday evenings 5-10, Sunday 10-4
FLSA Status:
 Hourly, Non-Exempt

Summary:

The position of Facility Care Team Assistant plays an important role in the daily operations of our ministry. This position works in conjunction with the facility team to maintain a clean and orderly space for PCC’s guests and attendees. The incumbent will seek to use their personal gifts and skills to contribute to the overall effectiveness and efficiency of the church.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities 

Tasks are outlined by detailed work guidelines, policy, or supervision. Other duties may be assigned as deemed necessary by the supervisor.

  • Open the rooms for evening groups
  • Greet, direct, and assist groups as needed
  • Provide assistance with unexpected setup or teardown for groups as needed
  • Lock and secure all rooms in the building after the evening groups have departed
  • Ensure lights are turned off, the building is locked, and the alarm is set before leaving
  • May involve light cleaning and trash collection in rooms as needed before departure

Supervision:

This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

Education and/or Experience:

High school diploma or equivalent, one to three months related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
