Hi, I'm Chris.
Chris King serves the Pathway staff as our amazing Human Resources Director. In addition to the mountains of paperwork she conquers on a weekly basis, her passion for prayer and for people has led to a ministry helping others find freedom in Christ. Outside of the office, she enjoys spending time with her three kids, and doting on her granddaughters, Maxwell and Sunny. In her spare moments, she loves to dig in the dirt in her garden, read, or listen to music.
What TV show are you into at the moment?
Last Man Standing. That show is stinkin’ hilarious!
Something you’re not good at:
Driving to places when I don’t know where I’m going. And cooking. (Except for pancakes. I make really good pancakes!)
Worst vacation memory:
When my family went out west during the summer of 1983. We drove my dad’s GMC pickup truck that had a cab on the bed of the truck. And it was under that steamy, hot cab with all the luggage—and, of course, no seatbelts—that we kids “stayed” for the duration of the LOOOONNNG ride. Like, days long. I ended up getting mono and passing out in a Las Vegas restroom all by myself at the age of 13. Super fun times!
First album you ever purchased?
Hmmmm… That’s a toss-up as that would have been like 35 years ago, and I can’t remember what I had for breakfast yesterday! It would have been Air Supply, Night Ranger, Rick Springfield, Heart, or Loverboy. I do remember my first cassette, and it was my absolute favorite back in 1982—Sammy Hagar’s “Standing Hampton”. I remember jamming to that in my very first car, a green Plymouth Valari. Smokin’ hot ride!
