True Vine Weekend

Pathway believes in redemption and healing, and we believe in Christ’s mandate to serve the vulnerable. More than 75 Pathway families have stepped into foster care, adoption, and pre-foster care support (New Mercies Ministries) to provide kids with a safe place to call home. We believe everyone can do something to positively impact the life of a child. And that all of those “somethings” are valuable. Join us for True Vine Weekend to learn more about God’s call to serve vulnerable children and families.

As part of our annual True Vine Weekend, we will hear from guest speaker, Tori Hope Petersen in all our worship services.

Saturday, September 12 | 5pm
Sunday, September 13 | 9am + 11am

Tori Hope Petersen is the bestselling author of Breaking the Patterns That Break You and the memoir, Fostered. A nationally sought-after speaker and Bible teacher, she encourages women, mothers, and young people who are navigating difficult circumstances.

As a leading advocate for foster care, Tori has shared her story with members of Congress and partnered with organizations across the country to raise awareness and support for vulnerable children and families.

At home, Tori is a wife and mom who loves cooking with her children. As a family, they often prepare extra food and have an open-door home, for anyone who might stop by.

SPECIAL EVENT

Foster, adoptive, and kinship moms, along with adults who have experienced foster care or adoption, are invited to join us A Morning with Tori Hope Petersen. We'll enjoy breakfast, flower arranging, and encouragement together. Tori will share from her experience as a former youth in foster care as well as a foster parent.

KidCare: $5/family
(KidCare is available on a first-come first-served basis for pre-registered children from infant through 5th grade. Children must be registered no later than one week before the start class.)

Join us on Sunday morning, October 12 for this brief, informative session where you can ask questions and learn the basics in a no-pressure environment. Light snacks will be served.
