Every weekend, our First Impressions team helps people experience the gospel before they ever step into a worship space. These team members are often a guest’s first interaction with PCC—so we aim to make these encouunters warm, clear, and overwhelmingly positive. If you have a heart to serve others and to be a friendly presence, these serving opportunities could be a great fit for you!

Church Online Host
Church online hosts are an integral part of the church online experience. They serve as virtual greeters who believe in the value of making a guest or regular attendee feel welcome and comfortable. They also function as virtual guest services; they help answer questions and connect guests to the information they need. Finally, online hosts are willing to type a prayer for those who enter a private chat to request for prayer. If you have simple computer skills, a heart for hospitality, and you’d like the freedom to serve from any place with a strong wifi connection, this could be a great opportunity for you.
Time Commitment: varies by role
Training: A member of our Production Team will meet with you prior to team involvement; this session will encompass any training needed.
Gifts & Talents: hospitality, active listening, computer and web navigation skills

Coffee Team
The heart of First Impressions is to make each person feel welcome and at home at Pathway. We provide hospitality and information to help people discover how they can live out their identity as people who are loved by Jesus, changed by the Spirit, and called by God. A warm smile and a welcoming word make a huge impact—not only on guests, but on those of us who serve.
If you want to know how vital our Coffee Team is, just hint at the idea of not serving coffee on a weekend… see what happens! These friendly faces are key to helping our guests and regular attendees feel at home as we worship together.
Time Commitment: 1 service, once per month
Training: we will show you how everything works, and how to make a great cup of coffee — it won't take long

The Usher Team is there during our worship services to guide our guests and members to open seats. Entering a large, often-crowded space can feel overwhelming. A friendly usher can turn a potentially stressful situation into a positive experience.
Time Commitment: 1 service — month on, month off
Training: some training is required — we will work with you make sure you know the ropes.
