We want KidCity to be one of the best hours of the week for your child!

Click any of the images below to explore our “towns”: TinyTown, MidTown, or UpTown.

TinyTown

INFANT – 2 YEARS

Saturdays, 5pm
Sundays, 9 + 11am

At "TotTime", toddlers will hear a Bible story that is reinforced with simple songs and the truth that God loves them. They'll also enjoy playtime and supervised activities designed for them.

Two-year-olds will gather around for “2’s Clues” storytime, as well as structured activity centers and fun worship songs.

We want TinyTown kids to know:

+ God made.
+ God loves.
+ God is great!

For more information about TinyTown, email KidCity@pccfw.org.

MidTown

3, 4, & 5 YEAR OLDS

Saturdays, 5pm
Sundays, 9 + 11am

Preschoolers get to visit “KC’s Place”, a special large group experience for 3, 4 and 5 year-olds. Here, they will journey through the Bible as its stories come to life with drama, creative Bible teaching, and music. Following “KC’s Place”, small group leaders take our kids through an interactive lesson that includes prayer, sharing, structured activity, and creative games.

We want MidTown kids to know:

+ God made me.
+ God loves me.
+ God wants me to obey.
+ Jesus wants to be my friend.

Kids in MidTown will sing worship songs from:
Touch the Sky
Reach Up High

For more information about MidTown, email KidCity at KidCity@pccfw.org.

UpTown

K – 4TH GRADE

Saturdays, 5pm
Sundays, 9 + 11pm

For our middle and upper elementary-aged kids, UpTown brings the Bible to life through energetic worship and drama in The Clubhouse (K-1st) or Studio 24 (2nd-4th). Following large group experience, small group leaders shepherd kids through discussions that reinforce the weekly  Big Idea. Kids begin to develop friendships with each other, with their leaders, and best of all, with God!

We want UpTown kids to know:

+ God loves me.
+ I can trust GOD no matter what.
+ I should love OTHERS the way Jesus loves me.
+ Jesus wants to be my forever friend.

These truths are reinforced with a weekly key concept, a monthly memory verse, and monthly core virtue.

Security & Wellness

YOUR FIRST VISIT

If you are a first-time guest at Pathway, your first stop is KidCity Guest Services, located on our main level outside the entrance to KidCity. A staff member or volunteer will greet you with a welcome booklet and a quick tour of your child’s area. The registration process takes about 5 minutes.

CHECK-IN / SECURITY PROCESS

Our number one value in KidCity is Safety! We want you to feel confident and comfortable leaving your child in our care so you can worship without worry.

We use an ID# system that lets us know your child belongs to you. When you decide to call Pathway home, you will fill out a registration form. At that time we will assign a permanent ID (your “K” number) to your household, and all the children listed in that household will have the same number. We will send you a postcard when your new Parent Cards are ready to be picked up at KidCity Guest Services. These cards are bar-coded to match only your family, and at every visit you will scan these barcodes at the Express Check-In stations located outside of the KidCity entrances. Nametags for the kids and pickup receipts for the parents will print instantly, and you’re off to class! At each visit, your pickup receipt has a random number that will match the number on the kids’ nametags. You must have a printed pickup receipt to pick up your kids from their classrooms. If your child needs you during the service we will display your “K” number on the screen in the worship center, so make sure you know your number or always have your Parent Card with you. If you’re visiting, just stop by KidCity Guest Services and they will issue nametags and pickup receipts to you.

We also have a security team that monitors our KidCity doors during each service. No one without a staff or volunteer name badge is allowed in the KidCity during the service. Parents may check on children at any time during the service, but you must present your parent card to be given entrance into the KidCity area.

TWO OR MORE

We have a policy of two screened and trained volunteers in any room before we will open that classroom to children. No KidCity staff or volunteer will be alone with a child or group of children.

VOLUNTEER SCREENING & TRAINING

Finally, all of our KidCity volunteers go through an application process that includes reference checks, a limited criminal history background check, and area-specific training before they begin working with children.

HEALTH & WELLNESS POLICY

For the protection of all the children in KidCity, we ask that you not bring your child if he or she has been sick (fever, vomiting, non-clear runny nose, diarrhea, rash, eye infection, persistent cough, or any other contagious illness) within the last 24 hours. If your child becomes ill while in our care, you will be contacted immediately.
