Support for Local Ukrainian Families

“Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.”

Matthew 25:40, NIV

Since February of 2022, 19.1 million Ukrainians have fled the war in their home country. While more than half of these people have returned to Ukraine, 5 million are displaced within the borders of Ukraine, and 8.1 million remain displaced throughout Europe. As of November 2022, 85,000 Ukrainians have fled to the United States. Hundreds of Ukrainian refugees currently reside in the Fort Wayne area, and a large number of them have found a church home at Pathway.

As the Church, we have the opportunity to help meet very tangible needs for these families. While Pathway teams and individuals are working behind the scenes to help our Ukrainian friends, there are needs we as the larger body of Pathway can meet. At this time, the simplest and best way you can offer support is by making a financial donation.

If designated to “Ukraine”, 100% of your financial gift will be applied to needs such as:

  • Money for gas to travel to/from work
  • Car insurance
  • School expenses (book fees, supplies)
  • Children’s clothes
  • Medication, dental bills, etc

At this time, we ask that you do NOT donate clothing, housewares, furniture, or any other items, but financial gifts only. Thank you for understanding.
