Hi, I'm Sierra.
Sierra is PCC’s detail-oriented and warm-hearted Care Ministry Assistant. From coordinating some of our largest events (Abundance and Giving Tree) to promoting the many support groups Pathway offers (Celebrate Recovery and Divorce Care), Sierra has a big heart to help. She finds joy in serving individuals who are faced with difficult and challenging circumstances, and her deep compassion enables her to walk alongside families grieving the death of a loved one. Sierra’s ultimate passion revolves around loving people, as she strives to show the love of the Lord to those all around her. When she’s not caring for individuals and families at PCC, Sierra enjoys walking the various shelter dogs at Fort Wayne Animal Care & Control, strolling clearance aisles at Target with a Starbucks in hand, and tackling home renovation projects with her husband on the weekends.

What’s one of your favorite apps?
iHeart Radio—specifically, listening to The Bobby Bones show every morning when I’m getting ready. They make me laugh and I love the positivity they bring to the news world.
What’s something new you’ve learned this year?
How to budget and save money—courtesy of Dave Ramsay’s Financial Peace University. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed learning how to become financially fit as a married couple.
Something you’re good at:
Typing. I can type REALLY fast… so much so that one of the first days I started working at Pathway, Lara Welch (my office-mate at the time) thought I was “fake typing”!
A silly thing that creeps you out:
Cotton balls. I can’t even paint my nails without cringing at the thought of them!
Any pet peeves?
When there is a TON of traffic and you let someone cut into your lane and they don’t wave and say “thank you.” It’s a simple gesture, people… c’mon!
First album you ever purchased?
Spice Girls. I think I still have every single song memorized, actually…
