Hi, I'm Ron.
As Pathway's Senior Pastor, Ron considers it an incredible opportunity to serve both the staff and the growing gathering of people who call PCC home. He loves to hear the stories of life-change which emerge from people coming to know the transforming power of Jesus Christ in their lives. Ron is the father of four. He recently married Tami Mann who has two children and two grandchildren. The proud couple also recently became the proud owners of Nova, a black and white mini Bernadoodle they are hoping stays small!
As a couple, Ron and Tami understand what it means to walk through the loss of a spouse from death and then work together as a newly married couple to blend two families together. Don’t ask them if they have it all down yet. They recognize blends cannot be microwaved but must be slow cooked over a long period of time. Ron’s first marriage to Laura ended in 2016 from breast cancer and Tami’s first marriage to Joe ended due to complications with Covid while they were serving with Destiny Rescue in Cambodia.
Outside of his family, Ron has a passion for life-long learning, running or cycling, and once in a great while throwing a hook or two into a well-stocked lake full of hungry fish. Ron is a graduate of Fort Wayne Bible College and holds an MA from Indiana Wesleyan University.

Something new you have learned this year:
I do not like to paint things– walls, ceilings, cabinets, doors, dressers. You name it and I don’t like to paint it.
Last book you read:
I’m currently reading Discipline of Disturbance: Stop Waiting for Life to be Easy by Hud McWilliams. One of my favorites is I’ll Push You by Patrick Gray and Justin Skeesuck.
Your favorite road trip snack:
Black licorice
Favorite coffeehouse beverage:
Old Crown 9th Degree of Darkness or Starbucks Dark Brew–always hot and never cold.
What are you into right now?
Tami has inspired me to get back into cycling, so off we go! I’m truly enjoying it! As a new blended grandpa, I’m also enjoying two little ones hanging around at times.
What are you listening to?
I like James Taylor and Diana Krall. My Pandora stations for worship are Chris McClarney and Katy Nicole.
TV shows or movies you’re watching?
I love a good documentary on history, travel and food!
Something you’re not good at:
Dancing. I have rhythm and can clap on beat, but my feet don’t like to dance.
Where’s your happy place?
My happy place is grabbing ice cream with any one or all of my family. I also love a good long walk, run or bike ride with Tami at my side (there is a level of competition between the two of us).
