We hope to see you each Sunday in KidCity where we are learning to grow up God’s way!
If you are unable to attend, you can watch previously recorded episodes of KC’s Place and The Clubhouse on KidCity’s YouTube channel.
If you are visiting Pathway, you will need to stop at KidCity Guest Services to sign in your child for the service you are attending. KidCity Guest Services is located on the first level just inside the entrance to KidCity. At your first visit, a staff member or volunteer greeter will give you a simple welcome booklet and a quick tour of your child’s area. The visitor registration process only takes about 5 minutes.
Our number one value in KidCity is Safety! We want you to feel confident and comfortable leaving your child in our care so you can worship without worry. We use an ID# system in KidCity that lets us know your child belongs to you. When you decide to call Pathway home, you will fill out a registration form. At that time we will assign an ID (your “K” number) to your household, and all the children listed in that household will have the same number. We will send you a postcard when your new Parent Cards are ready to be picked up at KidCity Guest Services. These cards are bar-coded to match only your family, and at every visit you will scan these barcodes at the Express Check-In stations located outside of the KidCity entrances. Nametags for the kids and pickup receipts for the parents will print instantly, and you’re off to class! At each visit, your pickup receipt has a random number that will match the number on the kids’ nametags. You must have a printed pickup receipt to pick up your kids from their classrooms. If your child needs you during the service we will display your “K” number on the screen in the worship center, so make sure you know your number or always have your Parent Card with you. If you’re visiting, just stop by KidCity Guest Services and they will issue nametags and pickup receipts to you.
We also have a Security team that monitors our KidCity doors during each service. No one without a staff or volunteer name badge is allowed in the KidCity hallways during the service. Parents may check on children at any time during the service, but you must present your parent card to be given entrance into the KidCity area.
We have a policy of two screened and trained volunteers in any room before we will open that classroom to children. No KidCity staff or volunteer will be alone with a child or group of children under any circumstance.
Finally, all of our KidCity volunteers go through an application process that includes reference checks, a limited criminal history background check, and area-specific training before they ever begin working with children.
For the protection of all the children in KidCity, we ask that you not bring your child if he or she has been sick (fever, vomiting, non-clear runny nose, diarrhea, rash, eye infection, persistent cough, or any other contagious illness) within the last 24 hours. If your child becomes ill while in our care, you will be contacted immediately.
