Hi, I'm Wendy.
Wendy Yoder joined Team PCC in 2021 as our KidCare Coordinator. She has a heart for children, and she loves that her ministry gives parents opportunities to grow in their relationships with Christ. Wendy and her husband, Lance, are parents of Maya, Madison, Myles and Max (and cutie-pup named Bailey). Wendy is a proud graduate of Purdue University, and she and her family are big Boilermaker fans! Her other favorite things include reading, being active (especially outside), cheering on her kids in various sporting events, and organizing anything and everything.

What are some of the books you’ve read recently?
I’m currently reading the Harry Potter series with my daughters as well as the Left Behind series.
Something weird about me is…
I don’t have my big toenails!
What’s a silly thing that creeps you out?
Birds really creep me out.
Where’s your happy place?
Anywhere all six of my people are doing something together. If we’re near water, or I don’t have to cook, even better!!
Do you have a favorite app?
Apps I use often are Fetch and my maps because I’m still learning my way around Fort Wayne (but getting better!)
When you were a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up?
I wanted to help people adopt children who needed a loving home. I went to college to work in the adoption field; I didn’t end up going that route, but we were called to adoption ourselves! We adopted our youngest from South Korea.
What were you like as a kid?
I grew up running around my grandparents’ farm and LOVED it! I raised beef steers and pigs for 10 years of 4-H, and in turn, my kids had dairy feeder steers and pigs a couple years before we moved to the big city!
Favorite coffeehouse beverage?
I don’t like coffee, at all… my weakness is Mountain Dew.
