Hi, I'm Kara.
Kara ministers to the students of Pathway as PCC’s Project 5 Coordinator/ Youth Administrative Assistant. She has a heart to see this emerging generation find their identity in Christ and encounter the personal God through Biblical teaching, worship, and fun! Previously, Kara served as a missionary in Mexico for almost seven years. She is fluent in Spanish, and she loves music, cooking, baking, reading, gardening, knitting, and anything outdoors by the water. In addition to her role on Team PCC, Kara attends PFW and is pursuing a degree in Business Administration with a minor in Spanish.

What are you listening to lately?
Maverick City Music, Housefires, Upper Room, Bethel
Highlight of the past year:
Going to a coffee farm in the southern mountains of Mexico
Favorite coffeehouse beverage:
Chai Latte with a shot of espresso
Worst vacation memory:
I was probably five or six and it was my first time going to Disney world. The night we arrived I got super sick with a high fever, so my family took me to the doctor. I had to sit in the doctor’s office drinking really stinking water for hours until my fever broke. The next day I went to the park, but slept in my stroller most of the time… I just woke up in time for the parade!
The best thing you cook/bake:
I can make a mean chocolate chip cookie.
When people look at you, they would never guess:
I am a first degree black belt in Taekwondo, I was in middle school when I got it.
Game show or reality TV show you’d want to be on?
The Amazing Race or Family Feud
