Wednesday Afternoon Study : January 22 – April 29

OPTION 1

It’s Not Supposed To Be This Way by Lysa Terkeurst / Trustworthy: Overcoming Our Greatest Struggles to Trust God by Lysa Terkeurst

Life often looks so very far from the reality we long for. Through It’s Not Supposed to Be This Way by Lysa Terkeurst, we’ll discover that whether we’re dealing with daily disappointments or life-altering loss, we can find unexpected strength as we wrestle well between our faith and feelings.

We’ll follow this study with Trustworthy: Overcoming Our Greatest Struggles to Trust God by Lysa Terkeurst. We say we trust God but end up trying control our situations ourselves. In this study, we’ll learn from some of the ancient kings in the books of 1 and 2 Kings. They, too, struggled with not trusting the Lord and following solutions of their own making. These crucial lessons from the kings are full of wisdom and warnings we must unpack, process, and apply to our own lives.

OPTION 2

Seamless by Angie Smith / Trustworthy: Overcoming Our Greatest Struggles to Trust God by Lysa Terkeurst

In Seamless by Angie Smith, we’ll study the people, places, and promises of the Bible, tying them together into the greater story of Scripture. Whether you’ve grown up hearing Bible stories or you’re exploring Scripture for the first time, the full story of the Bible can be overwhelming.

Experience the Bible as a whole as you gain clarity and confidence in your understanding of Scripture.
