The Pathway Food Pantry has a long history of meeting the needs of people at PCC and in our community. In its earliest phase, the food pantry was housed in a church member’s garage. For many years after that, our food pantry operated out of a local storage unit. During COVID, our Care and Facility teams brought the pantry to the church so we could more easily fill an increasing number of food orders.
At the end of 2020, we set a goal to build a food pantry on our campus—1300 square feet, complete with refrigerators and freezers. Many of you gave generously to this mission. Today, that facility is in the final stages of construction, and we are ready to stock the shelves!
On October 23+24, we invite you to be part of our “Pack the Pantry” event. Bring grocery-donations to Pathway, and help us stock the shelves with food that will feed our community!
