Habitat for Humanity and Outdoor Carnival

August 7 @ 11:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Building a Better Community

Pathway Missions is teaming up with Habitat for Humanity of Greater Fort Wayne to build a home in our city’s Oxford neighborhood. When you sign up to be part of this build, you’re providing support to a hardworking, moderate-to-low-income resident and their family. It’s an amazing opportunity, and we’d love for you to be part of the experience!

PANEL BUILD | SATURDAY, AUGUST 7 | 12-5PM

This build is happening in two phases. The “panel build” will take place in Pathway’s parking lot on Saturday, August 7 from 12-5pm.These walls will go into storage until October, when the home will be assembled in its permanent location.

Shifts are one hour. There are four shifts and a maximum of 40 volunteers per shift.

    • 11am-12pm – First Shift
    • 12:15-1:15pm – Second Shift
    • 2:30-3:30pm – Third Shift
    • 3:45-4:45pm – Fourth Shift

Habitat provides safety equipment, hard hats, and cleaning supplies.

Lunch is provided. If you don’t want to build but would like to serve this project, a lunch donation is a great option! Sign up to be a lunch donor HERE.

The minimum age to be on our active build site is 16. Those under 18 must bring a filled-out copy of the minor waiver form and have a parent/guardian with them at all times on the site. They will also not be able to use any power tools.

OUTDOOR CARNIVAL | SATURDAY, AUGUST 7 | 2-4:30PM

As a way to celebrate this Habitat Build Day, we’re throwing an outdoor carnival from 2-4:30pm. This is open to everyone—friends, families, and neighbors of all ages. We hope you’ll come out and be part of this special day!

Missions & Outreach

We want to help you live on mission for God here, near, and far.
