Update from our Senior Pastor March 25, 2020

Our approach to COVID-19

The COVID-19 is an unprecedented situation that has been making an impact on our world and our community. Right now, things are changing day to day. As a church, we will do our best to honor and care for you, and to keep you informed of changes to our ministries and events as they occur. We pray our church will use this as an opportunity to show concern, compassion, and care, to move away from isolation, and to engage the darkness with the light of hope through Christ.

March 23, 2020
Statement from Governor Eric J. Holcomb

Hoosiers are to remain in their homes except for work or permitted activities, such as taking care of others, obtaining necessary supplies, and for health and safety. This is effective from 11:59pm Tuesday, March 24 until 11:59pm on Monday, April 6, 2020.

Ministry Updates

We will NOT gather at 1010 Carroll Road for worship services until further notice, and we will worship exclusively through church online. This is a unique opportunity—to be a church family spread throughout the community and the world, sharing in the same worship experience through technology. Services will air Saturdays at 5pm, Sundays at 9am, 11am, & 6pm, and Mondays at 6pm at

Looking for sermon notes or GodTime (weekly Bible reading plan)? You can always find them in two places:
Download our mobile app, and get access to the sermon notes and GodTime in real time. In the menu bar across the bottom of the home screen, select “messages”. Choose the current series, then the latest message, and click “sermon notes.”
Usually, sermon notes and GodTime are uploaded with the recording of the weekend service to our website by Tuesday afternoons. To view or download the documents, select the current series, then the latest message, and click “sermon notes.”

ALL Pathway studies, groups, classes, or gatherings that meet at the church are suspended until further notice. This includes adults, youth, and children. We will continue to evaluate ministry activity on a weekly/daily basis. Contact your ministry leader with questions, and take advantage of the resources (linked buttons on the left side of the page) you can use to engage with God and others during this time.

To honor federal recommendations regarding the COVID-19 virus and to ensure the health of our staff, the Pathway office currently is not open to the public, and staff members are working remotely. We will reevaluate this after April 3.

You may contact staff via email addresses listed on our website, or you may send a general email to

If you have an urgent need, our Care Team and our staff-on-call can be reached when you call our office at 260.469.4444.

We encourage you to give your tithe and offering online, or text GIVE to 1-833-568-5410.

Abundance Food Pantry

We’ve been mobilizing our Abundance Food Bank to serve people in our PCC church family as well as our community partners (Light House, Redemption House, and Harvester Missionary Church). Food is considered an “essential supply”, and dropping off donations is permissible under the current shelter-in-place regulations. If you’d like to donate pantry items to help those who’ve been impacted by COVID-19, here’s how:
  1. Check out the list of current most-needed items (below)
  2. Drop off items off at the church, 1010 Carroll Road, outside the north entrance (under the overhang) from 10am – 3pm daily. You’ll see an “Abundance Food Drop Off” sign. Simply leave items outside by this sign.
  3. Our team will take it from there! (If you’d like to get involved as a volunteer, email our Care Team at

In light of the most current statement from our national leaders, we discourage any in-person meetings at this time. As much as you are able, we encourage you to stay connected with your small groups through phone calls, texts, and other communication channels. Be proactive in building community and fighting against isolation. God has called us to full life in him—together. If you have questions or want more information about small groups at Pathway, you can find it here.

Regretfully, we have made the difficult decision to cancel this year’s Garage Sale. We will not be accepting donations as previously scheduled.

and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.” Isaiah 41:10
