Senior Pastor Update | November 18, 2020

A Note from Our Senior Pastor

An excerpt from A Note from Ron on 11.14.20:

There are a few things we are going to ask you to do to collectively address the latest COVID challenge. As you know, we are facing another surge in cases. Our elders met this week, and here is what we are asking now:

1.  Mask up. Maybe it’s not for your sake, but it can be for the sake of others. We are going to ask you to wear your mask as you come and go AND during the service. I know there are varying views on masks, but let’s do this one thing for one another. We continue to ask for masks in our middle school ministry, and we want our high school students to mask-up on Wednesdays.

2.  We are going to ask that you social distance in the building. The Gathering, Venue, café lobby, and worship center all provide ways to spread out.

3.  We are taking this one week at a time, so watch for further updates. Our desire is to keep the doors open by providing a COVID-safe environment.

4.  The weekend following Thanksgiving (November 26/27) we will be online only, with no in-person services. This will also be the case December 26/27 and January 2/3.

I cannot help but go back to the Great Commandment we find in Matthew 22:37-40—Love God. Love People.

Update from Pastor Ron | July 28

Our approach to COVID-19

COVID-19 is an unprecedented situation that has been making an impact on our world and our community. Right now, things are changing day to day. As a church, we will do our best to honor and care for you, and to keep you informed of changes to our ministries and events as they occur. We pray our church will use this as an opportunity to show concern, compassion, and care, to move away from isolation, and to engage the darkness with the light of hope through Christ.
