Anita Smits

Anita Smits serves as the KidCity Uptown Coordinator (K-1). Her passion is to inspire kids to know they are uniquely made, deeply loved by God, and created for a purpose and that the best decision they can make is to choose God as their forever friend. Anita grew up in Fort Wayne and graduated from Leo High School and Indiana University. She and her husband live in a "house divided," because her husband is a Purdue graduate. Together, they are raising four children and a dog who keeps them on their toes. In her free time, Anita enjoys reading, shopping, and crafting. A fun fact about her: she once met a retired professional arm wrestler at a car dealership.
