5th graders are amazing! They aren’t kids or teens, but this awesome in-between place that is childlike fun blended with the deepening thought processes of a growing tween. We absolutely love these students and the opportunities we get with them every weekend in Project 5.
Project 5 is a high-energy environment designed especially for tweens—with fun, worship, and teaching aimed right at their 5th grade hearts. It happens at every weekend service: 5pm on Saturdays and 9am and 11am on Sundays. But in addition to all the awesome large group activities, Project 5 takes a village of small group leaders. Those smaller, more intimate groups are where the deeper discussions and life applications take place. If you can lead a 20-minute small group time and interact with students during the large group programming on the weekends, we would love to hear from you!
