As the Director of Missions at PCC, Todd DeTurk’s passion is to see lives transformed through missional experiences. He oversees all missions at Pathway, from local to national to international. In addition to his role at Pathway, Todd has several alter-egos: physician’s assistant with Fort Wayne Orthopedics, husband to his wife Chris, and dad to four kids—Luke, Kate, Maggie and Evelyn. In his spare moments, he likes to hit the road in his running shoes, which helps him manage his other favorite pastime—cooking on the Big Green Egg.
When Pathway sends a team of at least 7 volunteers to Beaumont, Texas, that’s enough help to hang sheetrock in an entire home through the course of one week. By providing the labor and the materials*, we’re able to save that family close to $30,000 of out-of-pocket expenses.
If you’d like to be part of the response by making a donation, we’d welcome your help. Thank you!
Gift Cards (Walmart, Lowe's, gas cards for travel)
$100 to sponsor a volunteer team member
Monetary donation of your choice (The average cost of drywall and insulation for one home is approximately $3000.)
If you are interested in being part of a crisis response team, coordinating relief efforts, or if you have questions, please email Karen Yorio at email@example.com.
*Thanks to the generosity of our congregation, Pathway is able to cover the cost of materials for each home — $2,500 per home, $30,000 for the year.
