DivorceCare for Kids

A 13-week ministry for kids ages 5-12 whose parents are going through a separation or divorce.  Games, crafts, listening/sharing activities, music, and videos will be used to create an atmosphere where children feel safe, comfortable and accepted.  The topics typically coincide with what is being discussed each week in the adult DivorceCare sessions, so this ministry provides a great way for parents and children to discuss and work through divorce together.

This 13-week support group for people who are grieving a loss(death of a friend, spouse, parent, child, etc.)  A bliblically based video on grief and recovery is shown each week using the GriefShare video series.  The sessions are led by people who understand what you are going through and who want to help.

 This 13-week support group for single parents provides refreshing biblical teaching, as well as effective parenting strategies, encouragement, an dinisghts on how to find rest and hope as you parent alone.  Video sessions feature single-parenting experts, the stories of single parents, and instructional parenting demonstrations.  The sessions are led by people who understand what you are going through and who want to help.

This 13-week program teaches you how God can be the foundation of your need and desire to be healthy (emotionally, spiritually, and physically).  You'll learn how to let God help you overcome struggles with food and weight.  The sessions include reading assignments, material review, bliblical study, discussions, impactful activities and presentations from professions to cover topics related to fitness and nutrition.  The program is based on material from Lose It For Life (LIFL), written by Stephen Arterburn and Dr. Linda Mintle.  It is open to men or women, age 18 and older.

These montly meetings provide fellowship and support for women at Pathway and in our community who are braving the experience of breast cancer.  From the newly diagnosed to the seasoned survivor, all are welcome to attend and share information, ideas and encouragement.
