Construction Updates and Ministry Impact

Toddler Room in KidCity

EFFECTIVE MARCH 12: Renovation will begin in this room, which includes a wall going up and making the usable space smaller. This could impact capacity. Contact Kevin Frauhiger (kfrauhiger@pccfw.org) with any questions about KidCity.

Mothers’ Room in KidCity

EFFECTIVE MARCH 12: This room will undergo significant demo to allow transition into the new construction, and will not be usable. Contact Kevin Frauhiger (kfrauhiger@pccfw.org) with any questions about KidCity.

The Clubhouse Theater in KidCity

EFFECTIVE MARCH 19: Renovation will begin in this room, which includes a wall going up and making the usable space smaller. This could impact capacity and programing availability. Contact Kevin Frauhiger (kfrauhiger@pccfw.org) with any questions about KidCity.

First Grade Room in KidCity

EFFECTIVE MARCH 19: Renovation will begin in this room, which includes a wall going up and making the usable space smaller. This could impact capacity on the weekend and programing availability through the week. Contact Kevin Frauhiger (kfrauhiger@pccfw.org) with any questions about KidCity, or Melanie Perlich (mperlich@pccfw.org) with any questions about space availability.

The Lobby

EFFECTIVE MARCH 19: Renovation will begin in this space, which includes a wall going up to contain where the work will be done. This could make the lobby feel a little extra cramped as usable space will be reduced.

The Venue

EFFECTIVE APRIL 2: Renovation will begin in this room, which includes a wall going up, making the usable space smaller. It also requires removal of the stage, along with all the sound and video equipment. This will impact how the room can be used. Due to the extent of the modifications happening in this space, Sunday Impulse at 9am and the Venue Worship Service at 11am will stop meeting until the new space becomes available. Contact Kyle Howard (khoward@pccfw.org) with any questions about Sunday Impulse, or Eric Dunaway (edunaway@pccfw.org) with any questions about the Venue.

Project 5 Room

EFFECTIVE APRIL 2: This room will undergo significant demo to allow transition into the new construction, and will not be usable for weekend programing, or otherwise. Project 5 will continue to meet, however, but will move into the usable portion of the Venue. Project 5 will be available in all three services in the Venue.  Contact Travis Geisel (tgeisel@pccfw.org) with any questions about Project 5.

Upstairs Hallway at Top of the Stairs

EFFECTIVE MAY 5: The walls and garage door to the former Venue have been removed, and a temporary wall has been built into the hallway, making the space very tight for traffic flowing both directions. Please observe the partition and directions as you make your way to the top of the stairs for Project 5 or KidCity check-in. Thank you!

Original Venue / Temporary Project 5 Room

EFFECTIVE MAY 14: Renovations have now required full access to the entire space that was once the original Venue, and more recently the temporary location for Project 5. This means that Project 5 will no longer be able to meet in this space. Please contact Kyle at khoward@pccfw.org for questions about Project 5 meeting location for the next several weeks. This room is well on its way to becoming the new lobby to the Venue.

North Entrance

EFFECTIVE July 9: Construction on the new drop-off canopy outside the north entrance will begin, and those doors will not be accessible for several weeks. For a period of time, the drop-off drive will be closed, as well. Parking in the south lots is recommended. For those who do park in one of our north lots, however, you will enter via the new entrances into the Cafe Area of the expansion.
