Building churches..............
At Pathway we have teamed up with Mark Murphy who has been doing amazing things in Haiti. We have sent teams to go with Mark for missions to support him whether he is building houses for needy families, or building churches to bring people to Christ.

................................................ We exist to impact future generations by reaching out to orphaned children and loving them as God has loved us.
|
The world has over 153 million orphans. Though this number is staggering, it is not beyond our capacity to impact significant numbers of children who are in need as we fulfill the mandate of scripture and defend the cause of the orphans.
Caring for Children Without Parents
- To respond to the mandate of caring for the orphans.
- To provide individuals and families at Pathway Community Church with opportunities to support, interact with, and meet the needs of parentless children in our community, in our country, and around the world.
- To network with other churches, ministries and orphanages, and to create alliances that support the cause of caring for the orphan.
- To amplify the voice of the orphan to the greater body of Pathway Community Church through initiatives that serve to create a deeper understanding of the biblical mandate to care for the orphan, and to provide tangible ways to carry out such a mandate.
Facilitating Adoption and Foster Care:
- To increase the awareness of the opportunities for adoption and foster care.
- To inspire God’s people to step into a faith-filled adventure of adoption and foster care.
- To educate families moving toward adoption by providing mentoring, networking opportunities and resources to assist them in the process.
- To celebrate the stories of adoption and foster care with the body of Christ.
Supporting Adoptive Families:
- What is this: Created to Connect Post-Adoptive Parents Support Group: A guided study of The Connected Child by Dr. Karen Purvis conducted in a loosely structured, safe support environment for adoptive parents.
- Who should come: Adoptive parents of any faith who need someone to talk to, and who want new tools to connect with their adopted child and create an emotionally safe environment to help them heal.
- Where will we be: Pathway Community Church - 11910 Shearwater Run, northwest Fort Wayne, near Lima and Carroll Road. We will meet upstairs in the Studio 24 theater.
- When will we be there: 7 - 8 PM (or as long as we need to be) on the second and fourth Thursday of every month, starting 22 March.
- Why: Created To Connect exists to serve and support adoptive parents in the Fort Wayne area, and provide a safe environment for them to share both struggles and triumphs and to learn new parenting strategies to connect with their children who have experienced difficult histories.
