How long are your worship services?

Services are approximately 70-minutes long, but can vary between 60-75 minutes. Click here for our weekend service times

How often do you celebrate Holy Communion?

We celebrate communion once every two months. We typically observe communion on the first full weekend of the month. However, we may decide to move it to another weekend for a variety of reasons.

As followers of Jesus, we take communion together as a community. While we do not feel a thimble of grape juice and a cracker are the best representation of Biblical communion, we do believe that in a large worship environment, we are able to reflect on 1 Corinthians 11:25-29. In doing so we give thanks in remembrance of Jesus who took the sin of the world upon Himself and died on a cross so that those who accept His free gift of grace would not perish but have eternal life (John 3:16). We feel communion is more accurately displayed as part of a meal in a community of Christ-followers who are doing life together. For more on our small groups click here.

What is the preaching and worship style?

Our teaching is Bible-based, Christ-centric, and applied to our day-to-day lives. The worship style is diverse utilizing modern songs as well as traditional hymns. (for more information on our beliefs, please go here.)

We recognize that Pathway may not be the church for everyone. Biblical community is very important to us and if Pathway is not a good fit for you or your family, we want to help you find a church home. There are several fantastic, Christ-centered churches in Northeastern Indiana and we’d be happy to point you in a direction that might be a better fit for you. Please contact us so that we can help!

Do you offer services for the deaf & hard of hearing?

We have a sign language interpreter located in the front of the green section in most 11am services, with a section of seating reserved for those who require this service. Please let us know if you plan on attending a specific weekend, or if you have any questions: info@pccfw.org.

How many people attend Pathway?

We currently average about 3,000 in attendance each weekend. In a church this big it can be difficult to meet people during weekend services. Our Connection Communities are one way we want to help you connect on the weekends. If you want to take another step toward deeper connection, we recommend a serving team, and a small group.

What are Connection Communities?

We want our big church to feel small, and for you to be deeply known and connected on the weekends. That’s what our Connection Communities are all about. When you find your seat in one of our worship venues, you will immediately be a part of a Connection Community with those sitting near you. We have a team positioned in your community, and they are eager to answer any questions you may have—just look for someone wearing a lanyard that matches the card on your seat.

What is the Venue?

We have multiple worship environments on our campus — the Venue is what we call the smaller worship setting at the top of the stairs in the lobby. We created the Venue specifically for those who value a more intimate worship setting. With that in mind, we have built a community of those who are connected and belong in the Venue. All are welcome to join us for worship in the Venue at 11am on Sundays.

Do I need to dress up?

Pathway worship services are a casual dress environment. From shorts and flip-flops to slacks and dress-shirts, we have quite a variety of styles here.

What is the pastor like?

Our Senior Pastor Ron Williams and his late wife Laura are the founders of Pathway Community Church. Ron remains deeply committed to this church family and the vision he and his wife pursued together for over fifteen years. He has a heart to see all people encounter Jesus and grow deeper in relationship with Him. Ron’s teaching style can be described as practical, relatable, and easy-to-understand.

Pathway is expanding our facility in support of our Beyond Vision, which you can read more about here. We are adding new ministry space for children, expanded lobby and cafe areas for connections, and adult/teen classrooms — all of which will be heavily used throughout the week and weekends. We anticipate the project will be complete Summer of 2018. For detailed look at our vision, building plans, and building progress go here.

What should I know to have a good parking lot experience?

We have recently expanded our parking as part of our Beyond Vision. Lots C, D, and E are on the north side of our facility and provide access to our main doors. Follow signs to find our visitor parking area for easier access to either entrance. When exiting our property, we ask that you use the Shearwater Entrance if you need to exit toward Lima Rd.; use the East Entrance if you need to exit toward Union Chapel.
